Paymi - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Paymi ("we", "us", "our"), a service operated by Paymi Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15002252). By creating an account or using Paymi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Paymi.

1. Our Service

Paymi provides a mobile application that allows eligible users to accept card payments using Tap to Pay on iPhone, powered by Stripe Connect (Standard accounts).

We do not process or hold funds. All payment processing, payouts, disputes, and chargebacks are managed directly by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. By using Paymi, you agree to the Stripe Services Agreement and any applicable Stripe Connect terms.

2. Eligibility

You may use Paymi if:

• You are at least the minimum age required by Stripe.
• You are a business, sole trader, or other entity legally able to accept payments in one of our supported countries: United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, France, Austria, Poland, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Luxembourg, Finland, Netherlands.

3. Fees

• Stripe Fees: You are responsible for all fees charged by Stripe (including transaction fees, chargeback fees, currency conversion, and any other costs).
• Paymi Fees:
  • Users without an active Paymi Pro subscription will be charged a 1.2% application fee on each transaction, applied via Stripe on top of Stripe's standard fees.
  • Users with an active Paymi Pro subscription will be charged 0% Paymi application fees on transactions.
• We may change our fee structure at any time by updating these Terms.

4. Payouts and Chargebacks

• Stripe manages all payouts directly to your linked bank account.
• Paymi does not and will never hold your funds.
• You are solely responsible for any withheld payouts, chargebacks, or disputes. Paymi has no liability for these.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate business and banking details to Stripe.
• Use Paymi only for lawful purposes.
• Not engage in fraudulent, illegal, or prohibited transactions.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Paymi at our sole discretion, including for suspected misuse or violation of these Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Paymi provides the app "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• Paymi is not liable for losses arising from payments, withheld funds, failed payouts, chargebacks, or Stripe's actions.
• Your relationship regarding payments is directly with Stripe.

7. Termination

You may stop using Paymi at any time. We may suspend or terminate your use of Paymi at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted within the Paymi app. Continued use of Paymi after changes means you accept the new Terms.
